The Demons of Adoption Award for 2014!!!
The Pound Pup Legacy Annual Demons of Adoption Award
Upon a successful 2nd nomination and upon election within the Adoption community for rightfully pointed out the wrongdoings and condemned the practices Pound Pup Legacy hereby thus denounces the dubious honor of receiving the Eighth Annual Demons of Adoption Award in 2014 to:
Adoption by Gentle Care of Columbus, Ohio
Who shall now receive the most critical recognition in Adoption including the scorn, disgust, and public flogging pertaining hereto this most infamous recognition in the city of AdoptionLand, in the state of the Internet, on this tenth day of November in the year two thousand and fourteen.
Adoption by Gentle Care; Repeat Offenders who Never Learned their Lessons
Oh yes, I am giddy with the joy knowing that Adoption by Gentle Care has won the 2014 Pound Pup Legacy’s Demon in Adoption Award. For one, I am proud to say that this was, no surprise, my nomination though it is worth it to toe that it is actually AGC’s second nomination. They were in the 5th Annual Demons of Adoption Awards 2011 nominations for their involvement as the placing agency in the failed adoption Thad Wyrembek aka Grayson Vaughn or as the original nomination statement can be quoted:
I nominate Adoption by Gentle Care. They were responsible for keeping a young boy(Thad Wyrembek aka Grayson Vaughn) from his biological father (Ben Wyrembek) for over three years. According to court documents Adoption by Gentle Care knew the husband of the mother was not the biological father even though he signed the surrender. It was apparent thatuire her to share that information. They call themselves non-profit, but it is obviously all about the bottom line. It appears the vast majority of their profits go into marketing to find more babies to “help”.
There are actually more than a few files on Adoption by Gentle’s Care’s past unethical antics in the Pound Pup archives that should be reviewed by anyone who truly has an interest in the truth about the dealings of this Ohio Adoption Agency.
Forever Denounced as One to the WORST in AdoptionLand
And what “good” company they are in!
- 2007: First Annual Demons of Adoption Awards award went to the National Council for Adoption
- 2008: Second Annual Demons of Adoption Awards award went to the makers of Juno
- 2009: Third Annual Demons of Adoption Awards award went to Bethany Christian Services
- 2010: Fourth Annual Demons of Adoption Awards award went to Joint Council on International Children’s Services
- 2011: Fifth Annual Demons of Adoption Awards award went to Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
- 2012: Sixth Annual Demons of Adoption Awards award went to United States House of Representatives
- 2013: Seventh Annual Demons of Adoption Awards award went to Raymond Godwin and Nightlight Christian Adoption
I mean just look at that list! The adoption agency lobby group, the largest adoption agency in the country, a house of Congress, an Academy Award winner, one of the largest churches in the country and then Raymond Godwin and Nightlight Christian Adoption who are basically considered the scum of the earth after their part in the Veronica Brown Case of 2013. I mean, this is no chump change. It’s a pretty prestigious list of some heavy hitters who happen, also, to suck.
And now we add Ohio’s Adoption by Gentle Care to the list! Congratulations Adoption by Gentle Care!!
About the Pound Pup Legacy’s annual Demons of Adoption Award
The Pound Pup Legacy instituted the annual Demons of Adoption Award to raise a voice against adoption propaganda and the self congratulatory practices of the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute’s annual Angels in Adoption Awards TM. Here at Musings f the Lame, the Demons in Adoption Awards has been something that we hearty support and look forward to every year, this year it is just extra sweet.
While Adoption by Gentle Care will, no doubt, hate winning this award the one thing I can say they will hate even more is that they will hate losing against Carri even more. Being held responsible for their unethical actions and accountability is something that they certainly do not want to do, do not want known to the public (especially their paying clients) and have managed to continue to use all sorts of methods of continued bulling and intimidation to try to get the truth covered up yet again.
I would like to take this opportunity to ask that if you would please, share this link and the award certificate far and wide. As the legal fight and the appeal to Bring Camden Home continues, the request for donations to continue funding the legal appeal is still required, so I ask again. The continued support of so many people both in and out of the adoption community has been most humbling, but attorney fee’s just due to time spent continue to mount.
So please, share the Demons of Adoptions Awards, but consider giving Adoption by Gentle Care a double wammy; Share their win and help fund their losses and together we will will Bring Camden Home.
