One year ago today…

I got my first message from my Max…

“Holy smokes…mom?”

Just like that..and it was over. Exile was over.

I can’t beleive a whole year has gone by. I have been writing my son and been involved in his life for a year.
A year.

Wowza.

Musings of the Lame was started in 2005 primarily as a simple blog recording the feelings of a birthmother as she struggled to understand how the act of relinquishing her first newborn so to adoption in 1987 continued to be a major force in her life. Built from the knowledge gained in the adoption community, it records the search for her son and the adoption reunion as it happened.     My “one year ago today” was April 1st.. Claud do you ever wonder why people connect and why they become important to each other? I think I found my answer in you. When I read what you write I feel like I am reading me.. so very odd! You and I are very lucky, our children work to keep us together. I so hope your letter is well received this week. I am thinking of you.
